Neon Hurricane is an alternative-rock band based in the UK who have been previously described as “Van Halen on steroids.” Made up of vocalist Chris Glynn, lead guitarist Graeme Craig and bassist and vocalist James Maxwell, the band formed in 2016 and have been leaving their mark on the alternative and rock and roll scenes since then! Neon Hurricane has “played many lucrative festivals and venues such as the Birmingham Arena” and has caught the attention of Thirty Seconds to Mars.
The latest single the band have released is titled Another Day, Another Dollar and was released on May 21st. It’s available to listen to on all major streaming platforms and if you’re a fan of bands like Van Halen and Kings Of Leon, this is definitely for you! Another Day, Another Dollar is the sixth single to be released and has definitely got all the energy and catchiness needed to make it a hit!
A strong drumbeat brings the song in and immediately demands attention from the listener. It's clear right from the start that this isn’t a track to just listen idly to, it’s impossible to not pay attention. The already infectious energy only increases as the melody comes in. Making a track catchy right from the first note is not an easy thing to achieve but Neon Hurricane has managed it!
Another Day, Another Dollar managed to give off strong 80s vibes at the same time as giving off some serious Metallica energy which as a combination, works really well! It only adds to the memorability of the track - it's something completely different and totally unique! It’s not a song you can sit still while listening to either, it has one of those beats that is seriously impossible not to bop along to.
The single is sure to be a hit live and I can't wait to see the reactions to it! Another Day, Another Dollar has the feel of a track that would be incredibly popular at festivals and has the potential to really get a crowd moving at any time of day! The single is one to check out and Neon Hurricane are definitely a band for alternative-rock fans to follow!
